COURSE DESCRIPTION
The OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Standard (HAZWOPER) is a 40-hour initial training course designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.120 and is required for workers who perform clean-up operations or other activities that expose them or could expose them to hazardous substances, including hazardous waste. This training also covers emergency response workers. Following the completion of this course, students must receive three-days of on-site field experience with a trained and experienced supervisor, prior to being able to work.
