COURSE DESCRIPTION
This 4-Hour OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Awareness course will provide participants with the knowledge required to identify bloodborne pathogens and to protect against exposure. Main topics covered in this course include transmission, prevention/control of exposure, incident response, and emergency procedures. This course meets the minimum training requirements set forth in 29 CFR 1910.1030 established by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
*This course also meets the requirements for the Nassau County Environmental Hazard Remediation Provider & Technician Licenses.
