Tank Registration and Compliance

Tank Registration and Compliance  CNS can interact with local and/or state agencies as a client’s liaison to obtain and maintain Storage Tank Registration(s) for a single property or an entire property portfolio.  In addition, CNS facilitates aboveground storage tank (AST) and underground storage tank (UST) testing and component pressure testing and repairs in compliance with local and state regulatory agencies.

Geophysical Surveys

Geophysical surveys are accomplished by CNS staff utilizing metal detectors and sled mounted ground-penetrating radars (GPR) to confirm the presence and/or absence of a UST and/or its components.  Upon completion, CNS will supply a final report containing sub-surface imagery, as well as drawings of the surveyed area(s) with depths and approximate locations of anomalies.

Storage Tank Removals & Oversight

Storage Tank Removals and Oversight are accomplished by CNS staff or can be put to bid to an owner’s contractors list with CNS acting as the owner’s liaison.  CNS provides full reporting, excavation oversight, regulatory agency interaction and compliance sampling to ensure no contaminants exist within the tank bed(s) as required by local, state and federal regulations.
